Flip Flop Fashion - with more on the way!

Flip Flop Fashion!

New on Zazzle - Flip Flops Designs!

I was wandering a craft store and came upon these little wooden bookmarks that were just ripe for some vibrant paint. I brought a few home and picked the brightest colors I could find and went to town.

I must say I had a lot of fun painting these little gems. I got to use colors I wouldn't normally paint with and do designs I wouldn't normally do.

I always loved the variety of flip flops but sadly I am just not coordinated enough to walk in them. I guess I will have to settle for the little wooden book marks for now.

A couple of these designs are already up on Zazzle and two of them are waiting to be approved on Greeting Card Universe. I will get the rest up in the coming days, perhaps paint a few more and I promise to start updating my CafePress store with these designs. I know I have been neglecting it recently. So stay tuned and if you need one in a hurry let me know and I will make it a priority.

Dog T-shirts Now On Zazzle

New Dog T-Shirts Move to Zazzle

Although I have been selling these designs on CafePress for some time now, Zazzle has just announced that they are jumping into Pet T-shirts too. The difference is that you can add to my sayings and designs. Right now there are only four designs and they are very simple but look for more to come as I try to design some more.

I also have a line of Pet Sitter's Information Cards. They come in postcard sets for the individual or sets of 100 for pet sitters to hand out to their client.

ON A SIDE NOTE: I do appologize about the updates as of late, or lack there of. I have been having major computer and internet problems and I think I have figured them out now. I have also been taking a little time off to do some much needed yard clean-up and sprucing up the house. While I may slow down a little bit during the summer (or may not, you never can tell with inspiration) I will be sure to try and post something new a little more often than I have been. Until then and for those in the Spring months, ENJOY!

Always Remember Me

Upon driving home from the art store I was inspired by all of the beautiful papers in the scrapbook section. While I have a lot going right now I just couldn't help working on a few of my own. While there are not many in the store right now I plan on filling it up very soon.

All of the scrapbook pages are designed from the very beginning to the end by me. Each page takes around 2-3 hours starting by designing and drawing the backgrounds (by mouse none the less) on each "paper" then the random artwork is made and all put together in true scrapbook style.

Each page is easily customized by you, no more cutting and pasting paper, buying all of the embellishments that quickly add up or worrying about finding the time. All you need to do is upload your photos, change the text and titles, and add anything you want, you can even change the size of the paper if you want something bigger. Each page can be beautifully framed too!

Need something special right away? Feel free to email me.

Welcoming Baby Cards

New Line Of Baby Cards On GCU!

I often times overlook Illustrator but on occasion I get around to opening it up and playing around with it. Since I don't have a drawing tablet Illustrator is not my first choice to use but I wanted to do another line of simple baby cards for single up to quadruple births and I wanted to make them multi-cultural.

First I started out with the background, I made a small swatch of polka dots in light and dark pink then added it to the swatch pallet. I applied it to my card background and added type on top. To draw the baby I started out with a circle for the face, drew half circles for the eyes, two small circles for the cheeks and placed them accordingly. To make the pacifier I made an oval and placed a half oval on top for the handle.

To make the bonnet and bow I began with a oval made from the pentagon tool. As I was stretching it I held the up arrow so the sides increased to around twenty or so. I used the "pucker and bloat" filter to make the billows in the bonnet. I then added a smaller regular oval to serve as the lip. For the bow I made a triangle and moved the anchor points to round it out. I copied and pasted in front of the first triangle and reflected it to form the other side of the bow. Add a circle for the knot, some lines for the creases, and the bow is finished. For the tails I just drew them freehand with my mouse and repeated the copy, paste, reflect for the other side. I moved the bonnet behind the face and the bow in front and placed it on my card. To change complexions and colors was easy from there by just selecting the items and picking the colors from the color palette. To add extra babies I copied the face after grouping all of the shapes and pasted them.

There are cards for single, twins, triplets and quadruplets and if you need more babies feel free to drop me a line and I will be more than happy to make one up for you. Cards are $2.79 with bulk purchases being lower.
